May 8th, 2011- Volleyball at the Pool

After a long, somewhat crazy day, it was nice to not really have anything to do on Sunday. As we were up kind of early anyway, Natalya, Amanda, and I walked down to get a better look at the beach in front of the hotel.

It is not a swimming beach as the rips and tides of the water are very powerful, but the aqua colors of the crashing waves is very inspiring and beautiful.

After the walk on the beach, Melissa and Cameron met us at the hotel. Team Just Keep Fishing mixed and mingled with other eager fishing teams from all over the world. They participated in a casting contest, (and were in the top place for awhile) collected their IGFA captain's bags, and posed for pictures.

Then everyone met up at the pool to relax and work on our tans. (Of course I was lathering on Reef Safe Sunscreen as burning is never worth it.) Some how we started playing volleyball, although there was more chasing the ball than any actual volleying of it.

After that, Cameron posed for a few pictures on the beach in his Reef Safe Shirt.

I took a few pictures of the great views from the hotel, and then we split up for dinner.
We had made plans to meet up with Davey and his group, but there was mix up in restaurant names and locations, and it just didn't happen. Wearing our Rip Charts shirts, we made a splash on the town. People stopped to ask what Rip Charts was and to get a closer look at our shirts.

It was a very fun, tiring, relaxing and vacation-ish day.
